Spectrum Internet participates in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning
On Friday 25th September, Spectrum Internet was eager to participate in the World Biggest Coffee Morning for MacMillan cancer support.
After weeks of planning, organising and baking (or in some cakes faking!), our coffee morning was a huge success.
The special day entailed transforming the breakout area with Macmillan table cloths, balloons and posters, as staff dressed down to enjoy a morning of cakes, coffee and camaraderie.
As cakes arrived in the morning, it was evident that the Spectrum team had worked hard to support such a great cause. Spectrum Internet was also privileged to have received professional Macmillan Coffee cupcakes from Emma B’s Cupcakery based in Caerphilly.
However, the most interesting game of the day involved guessing the secret ingredient in a game called Muffin Roulette. Willing participants anticipated being blind folded and tasting a muffin with a nasty or nice component.
In total, Spectrum Internet raised £175.00, beating last year’s result of £156.00. We would like to send a big thank you to Emma B’s Cupcakery, the Spectrum team and their families and friends who helped to provide the cakes and support the day – we wouldn’t have done it without you!
