Spectrum Internet Nominated for Three Prestigious ISPA Awards
The UK Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) has recently announced the shortlist of finalists for their forthcoming 17th annual ISPA Awards, which sees Cardiff based ISP Spectrum Internet gain 3 nominations.
Spectrum Internet underwent two months of rigorous technical testing by ISPA’s partners, thinkbroadband, and will be competing for the titles of Best SME Broadband, Best Superfast Broadband and Best Wireless Broadband. An independent panel of industry experts will decide the winners at the awards ceremony taking place in London on Thursday 2nd July.
The ISPA Awards highlight the true diversity and strength of the Internet industry in Britain. Spectrum Internet has seen significant growth in the last year, particularly in South Wales and the South West, by combining creativity and future-proof technologies, building a superfast SME community utilising the UK Government’s connection voucher scheme. Clients include Business in Focus, Films@59, Welsh ICE and Alacrity Foundation.
Giles Phelps, Managing Director, Spectrum Internet said:
“Over the last ten years’ we have grown our network dramatically and we are very proud of Spectrum Internet’s success to date. As part of the scheme, and beyond, we will continue supporting SMEs in Britain accessing Internet speeds up to 1Gbps.”
Nicholas Lansman, ISPAs Secretary General, said:
“Congratulations to all those shortlisted for the 2015 ISPA Awards. With ISPA celebrating its twentieth anniversary, the long running ISPA Awards continues to reward those who help connect consumers and businesses and underpin our economy and society. These awards are the most rigorous and independent in the sector, with millions of tests carried out and direct input from customers. I look forward to the unveiling of the winners in July.”
