Super Connected Cities ‘pre-registered’ experts

Spectrum Internet continues to demonstrate its excellence in the UK Government’s Super Connected Cities scheme, which offers eligible SMEs vouchers up to £3000 towards the connection cost to ultrafast broadband, by becoming one of only a handful of providers granted with the coveted ‘pre-registered’ status from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

Thanks to this newly granted status, eligible local businesses have been connecting to gigabit speeds delivered by Spectrum Internet within 5 days – and have no longer needed to complete an application form to their city Council.

Through an extensive fibre network the company has transformed businesses and multi-tenant sites, including Business in Focus and The Maltings, with affordable Fibre-to-the-Cabinet, Fibre-to-the-Premise and wireless solutions, providing speeds up to 1Gbps. Please see customer stories here.

The growing ISP has exciting plans over the next few months to expand its network and be able to connect more businesses throughout South East Wales.

Giles Phelps, Managing Director, said: “Becoming a pre-registered supplier proves our expertise in the connection voucher scheme. 2014 has been a highly successful year for Spectrum Internet and we have gained a number of new clients because we provide innovative and creative broadband solutions.”
